Known for its innovative spirit, GNC Cinemas, a company from Rio Grande do Sul with a new cinema concept that has been operating for twenty-two years in the markets of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, automated its sale of tickets with the rental of Schalter self-service terminals .

Seeking ways to diversify the service channels with the objective of making its services even faster and more efficient, CNG decided to invest in self-service terminals "in order to speed up the sale of tickets when the cinema is open and increasing the opening hours, when the Cinema is closed, "explains Marta Pinheiro, Network Operations Manager.

The Operations Manager also highlights the agility in customer service as an essential factor to respond to this demand. "Since the self-service terminals were installed, we have periods in which terminal service reaches 30% of the box office compared to personal service."

Still according to Marta Pinheiro, Schalter was chosen "through previous positive experiences, related to support, parts and agility in the service". The project already includes operations in nine theaters, totaling 44 exhibition rooms and "the network plans to install new terminal units soon," says the manager.
