The Porto Alegre CDL acquired EasyPay Model Self-Service Terminals to compose the relationship center during the 10 days of the "Liquida Porto Alegre" campaign.
One of the Self-Service Terminals was placed in a container in the center of the city representing a central relationship of the population. The other terminal was installed in a mall near the realization of the campaign, also in the center of Porto Alegre. The equipment was intended to offer consumers queries about the existence of debts in their names in the credit protection service. The pending queries occurred through biometric readings provided by the terminals to facilitate and optimize the process of consulting the information. In addition to the terminals, CDL received from Schalter the SDK tool (Schalter Developer Kiosk) that allows the development of applications (software) for the terminals. This development tool allows freedom at the moment of software generation, both for the aspect of free creation and for speed and ease of development.
According to IT Manager and Innovation, Celso Pelliccioli, the terminals were very important for the realization of this project of Liquida Porto Alegre. In two weeks more than a thousand people interacted with the equipment. For CDL it represents an opportunity to offer more ease to our users besides providing a technological update for our institution in order to keep up with the needs of the market. " The manager also signaled the intention to acquire new terminals to use them in other projects in view of the good acceptance of the public in the previous campaign.
