With more than two decades developing and industrializing electronic equipment, Schalter is a national company with the right experience in developing personalized electronic products, mainly in self-service terminals, with dozens of success stories, from the simple customization of its product range or the full development of new products, according to client specifications, to the industrialization in the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) regime.
Our creative process of personalized equipment involves six phases that can be explored below.
In a first meeting, we deal with the client as specifics of his project and capture the necessary information, we give him the idealização do projeto. Schalter has various studies on the conceptual design of the product, until arriving at the design expected by the client. Based on the conceptual design, a rendered virtual prototype of the product is developed. For this process, Schalter offers a highly-specialized engineering team that takes into account attention to the smallest details, in addition to the creativity of our designers.
Development of mechanical parts and pieces of the product. The engineers transform the virtual prototype into CAD files to manufacture the pieces. The development of electronic boards occurs and then, the development of firmware and application software.
Manufacturing of small quantities of the product, fully functional for testing, evaluating and validating the product. This is an important period to make use of feedback from the engineering team to adjust the necessary points and to guarantee that the needs of the client will be met.
The normal production process, on a scheduled production plan, can vary between 6 to 8 weeks. To manufacture large volumes, if they are self-service terminals, our current capacity for installation can be up to 36 units daily.
For the adequate completion of the project, the quality control process is carried out. This step guarantees that all items of the project are aligned with the client’s expectations, as well as the quality criteria required by Schalter. A checklist is made with dozens of verifications and tests to guarantee the success of the project.
